The Palace of the Parliament

The second largest administrative building in the world (after the Pentagon) in terms of all-out surface is one of the most visited touristic attraction. The construction, started in July 1984, has 6 registers and 21 bodies. The pompous halls and galleries are generously decorated with monumental sculptures, golden plaster, laced ceilings, brocharts, tapestries and heavy carpets, which harmoniously overwhelm the visitors. Bucharest Municipality Museum

A luxury house that holds a historical furniture collection and households objects, a weapon collection, uniforms, flags, costume collection and textile objects, the religious collection, as well as a library with 45,000 items, almost entirely literature on Bucharest. The museum holds a valuable photograph collection with archaeological excavations spots, town planning works, buildings, aspects of city life. Brâncoveneşti Palaces 

Monumental historical, cultural, touristic sight due to the valuable architectural patrimony.  Situated about 10 kilometres from Bucharest, it was built between 1698-1702 by Constantin Brâncoveanu in what is called the Romanian Renaissance style or Brâncovenesc style, a combination of Venetian and Ottoman elements. Dimitrie Gusti Village Museum

One of the most valuable ethnographic museums in the world. A creation of sociologist D. Gusti in 1936, the outdoor museum covers 30 hectares with over 70 exhibits of houses, 99 auxiliary buildings, churches and traditional techniques from all of the country's provinces.
